Leading up to and during the day - Group

Leading up to the event we printed off 40 packets of each country and 40 cards to go along with this. We spent all of Tuesday night as a team, cutting, glueing and packing the product and organising all our aesthetic and what needs to be in the suitcase. To make enough candy to supply a 3 hour event we decided on one full tray for each "colour"

Japan = Blue
Africa = Yellow
Hawaii =Green
India = Purple
Spain = Red.

The 5 candy trays that were made were then divided equally into plastic baggies to fill the exterior packaging.

Below are photos of the workspace and cleaning products we used, process photos and general team bonding photos.

For and after every batch we made we washed all our utensils with boiling hot water and dishwashing liquid and wiped any services with the spray and wipe below. Anyone with long hair tied theirs back and we didnt break the candy up with our hands or touched the product.

Wanted poster idea's - Louis

My iterations of the wanted posters featuring Dom and I. These posters use the same imagery as the tickets. Its possible we may look to thug and could get arrested on the day - Louis

Ticket Developments - Louis

More layout experiments with the tickets using Mediterranean and indian imagery to emphasise the gypsy theme of the stall. - Louis

Logo and Packaging Mock Up. -Vanessa

After looking at packaging and the logo I came up with these designs that could work for the aesthetic we are trying to achieve.

This logo combines Jeremy's crystal design and Bella's aesthetic to create something simple that shows the main part of our stall which is the crystals.

This is a packaging design that I thought could work as a cover for our plastic wrapped product. it will add the mystery of the product still but it shows a more rustic and exotic design as the patterns on the front will be the "country" the gems are from.

Prop finding and Packaging- Vanessa

After deciding on the gypsy aesthetic I went out to try and find props that would show the look we are going for. We want to show a rustic, travelling gypsy stall that communicates that we go around the world collecting things and crystals (the product we are selling) to try and accomplish this we are looking at finding gypsy imagery and doing our own/taking inspiration from them. We have a table cloth and some props borrowed from a friend and i purchased a bowl and plastic gems but below are some possible things we could get.

After the feedback from the teachers on our suitcase packaging not being effective I looked into other forms of packaging and how we could present them. In my opinion you want the product on display so it attracts people to the stall, Hiding it away in a suitcase would add the element of mysteriousness but it would also hide away our main aspect. I also looked into how we could make or display the "missing gem" that is being stolen for our game.
